EBR Changes

We are making big changes to the Early Bronco Registry and the Web Site - It will all become FREE!!!  Stay Tuned!!

If you are about to join or renew, please wait until this notice announces the new changes are effective, we hope at the end of Novemver.  The basics are simple, all the web site features that were an extra charge for the general public will be free, as will the cost to become or renew as an EBR member.  You will still be able to join and register as a member, and that will allow us to maintain and grow the database of Bronco owners everywhere, plus you will get on email distribution for EBR news and events.

Posting photos with the classifieds will also become free.

Note that the eStore will go away entirely.  We will no longer sell merchandise off the web, so if you see something you want right now, better go buy it.  Nothing will be available after the store closes.

5-year ANNIVERSARY Statistics

We are sometimes asked when the Early Bronco Registry began holding their Five-year ANNIVERSARY events.  Here is a quick summary of the facts:

20th
ANNIVERSARY - 1986. 14 Broncos. Bonsall CA. The first event with Ford PR sponsorship. No one knew then that it would be repeated.  We did get a group photo with a large banner that is still used at each five year event.

25th ANNIVERSARY - 1991. 51 Broncos. Truckhaven Hills, CA. A huge wind storm didn't stop the fun and the magic.  The first event for Jim Creel of Wild Horses and the last event for John Karp and Hal Sealand of K-Bar-S.

30th ANNIVERSARY - 1996. 167 Broncos. Lone Wolf Colony, Victorville CA. Wow, what a turn out - a world record at the time. Harry Robinson (Link-Arc Welders) helped us get over $30,000 in raffle donations - another record in 1996.

35th ANNIVERSARY - 2001.  304 Broncos.  Lone Wolf Colony, Victorville CA.  Like the 30th only HUGE, still the world record Bronco turnout!  Broncos came from everywhere:  the east to west coast and from Mexico to Canada.

40th ANNIVERSARY - 2006.  264 Broncos.   Mojave Narrows Regional Park, Victorville CA . A once-in-a-lifetime "Evening with the Legends"; two hours of back-slapping stories by the guys that put the Bronco on the racing map.

Fabulous Fords Forever

The 23rd Fabulous Fords Forever report!

Fab Fords is one of the largest Ford car events in the country with nearly 2000 Fords of all years and models on public display for five hours on a beautiful Sunday in April.  Until four of us showed up with our Early Broncos in 1992, there were NO Broncos at all participating in FFF, and no Bronco category.  Today Broncos have their own official class (Class 20) and we have become the second largest class at FFF, only following the new 205-2008 Mustang.

The final count out of the 105 registered plus James Duff’s Bronco that came as last years winner and was not registered:

a.    1 Last year’s winner (James Duff’s Pony Express)

b.    3 Bronco II’s

c.    4 Full Size late model’s

d.    7 Stroppes (including Augie Saucedo who parks with Socal EBs in red EB area)

e.    9 Stock Uncut (including 1 that parked with son in red EB area)

f.     4 Vendor (3 were Rocky Roads parked in the red EB area).

g.    74 EB’s in the red area

h.    98 Total out of 106 (105 registered plus Duff)

Here are some attendance numbers for prior Fab Fords years:
