HA22 - 40th Anniversary This issue of Horsing Around is dedicated to the Early Bronco Registry’s 40th ANNIVERSARY, but before we start on the 40th we do have another very different and unique Early Bronco event to pass on – perhaps the largest Early Bronco yard sale you will ever see. |
HA23 - Midwest Vintage Bronco Club The Coast to Coast flag and log book have been moving as fast as possible from event to event, and we look forward to their return so we can begin mailing out the “I Carried the Flag” vinyl decals to everyone that is registered in the log book. |
HA24 - Coast-2-Coast Statistics By the time this issue of Bronco Driver is in your hands, we believe all the major Bronco events of 2006 are over. Five-Year ANNIVERSARY Statistics We are sometimes asked when the Early Bronco Registry began holding their Five-year ANNIVERSARY events. Here is a quick summary of the facts. |
HA25 - Ford Proving Ground The Arizona Proving Grounds (APG) was built on the site of a WWII Army air field. The runway is still part of the test track and the control tower still stands as the oldest control tower remaining in Arizona. |
HA26 - Parnelli Jones Our first report is about a recent evening in Los Angeles spent with Bronco racing legend Parnelli Jones plus 600-700 of his best friends. Two of these friends were EBR members Bruce Bolander and Todd Zuercher. |
HA27 - ACB Stampede We have two fun things for you this issue; the release of the official 40th Anniversary DVD and a different kind of a report on the Arizona Classic Bronco (ACB) annual Stampede. Let me cover the 40th DVD information here. |
HA28 - Bronco Daze This issue wraps up reports on our two big annual events; Fabulous Fords Forever and Bronco Daze. Read about Bronco Daze below. See the Fab Fords report elsewhere in this issue. Both of these events are staffed by members of the Early Bronco’s Ltd (oldest Early Bronco club in the country) and hard working EBR members from around the San Diego and Los Angeles areas. |
HA29 - Bradshaw Trail Get your calendar out and mark these event dates now. We have made big adjustments to our major EBR Bronco activities; Fabulous Fords Forever, Bronco Daze and BroncoFest. Here is the new plan. |
HA30 - San Juan Mtns By the time you read this we will have held Bronco Daze a Vu and been to the SEMA show and we are thinking next of touring the Bilstein Aftermarket and Motorsports Headquarters in Poway CA. This Bilstein visit would be more interesting if I can ask a number of questions on your behalf. |
HA31 - SEMA 2007 The SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It draws the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place: the Las Vegas Convention Center. |
HA32 - Bronco Bling What is it about owning an Early Bronco (or any Bronco) that gets your heart rate going? For me, two things nearly always work. First is the throaty sound of a belch-fire V8, deep into it’s torque curve, rumbling up the rocks. If you can feel it as well as hear it, life is good! |
HA33 - GPS Test-XOG Wemet with GPS manufacturer Lowrance at the SEMA show looking for new products of value to the Bronco world. Their newest GPS product looked ideal for both on-road and offroad use by the Bronco community. |
