Welcome to the Early Bronco Registry The oldest and largest Early Bronco association on the
planet!
The very first Early Bronco club in the country
(Early Broncos Ltd. or EBL) was
founded in in Poway CA in February 1981. As the only Early
Bronco organization for years, the EBL was written about in various 4WD
magazines and quickly became recognized across the country as a source of good
information about the 1966-77 Ford "Early" Bronco. As a result, the volume of
requests for Early Bronco information grew beyond the club's ability to respond
individually, and a subordinate not-for-profit association (The
Early Bronco Registry or EBR) with a supporting web site and
newsletter (Horsing Around) was created in July 1990
specifically to assist Early Bronco owners, clubs and businesses anywhere in the
world..
The EBL and EBR operate
with a common Board of Directors and are both dedicated to the
"preservation and enjoyment of the 1966-77 Early
Bronco ". They have independent charters. The
EBL continues as a small southern California club with
local runs, activities and personal participation. The much larger - and
international - EBR provides a variety of Early Bronco
information and supports events for individual, family, club and business
members across all 50 states, the Canadian providences, and anywhere in the
world that interested Early Bronco Owners live. The EBR is
free, friendly and informal, with our work done by unpaid volunteers
(Please be gentle, you might want to become one of our
volunteers).
The primary tools we have to help our members
include:
- The publication of the Horsing Around newsletter with
stories, tips, ads, vendors and photos just for the Early Bronco world. This
is published in Bronco Driver Magazine, and historic copies are available
electronically on this web site (in the Library) for all EBR members.
- Email updates to all members about interesting Bronco activities (if you
enter your email address)
- Our Super-Site also offers our online Classified Ads
with free photos for members to help sell and find Broncos, parts,
accessories, and even other stuff not Bronco related.
- Sponsorship or coordination or advertising of Early Bronco member
Runs & Events to help folks anywhere gather together for
Bronco "preservation and enjoyment".
Who should be a member of
the Early Bronco Registry?
You! If you own - or just
have an interest in - this tough and durable workhorse of a vehicle, you need to
be a member of the EBR. Whatever your Bronco does for a living from a farm tool
to an off-road monster to a show quality restoration, we are here to make your
life easier and more fun. We love to hear and share your needs and experiences
with all our members. Your questions, answers, tips, trips, photos and stories
are the best part of the Early Bronco Registry!
YOU . . . are the EBR!
