The Bronco world looses two special people
We will miss Betty and Pat!
By: Steve Sampson - 20071211

The Bronco community lost two important members in late 2007, Betty Monroe and Pat Walsh.  Betty had a heart attack on the way to Bronco Daze a Vu but was recovering.  A second heart attack was more than her body could handle.  Betty and her husband Joe co-founded the Early Broncos Ltd (EBL) in 1981, making it the very first Early Bronco Club in the country.  Betty’s efforts promoting the enjoyment of the Early Bronco continued nearly 365 days a year ever since.  The EBL subsequently formed the Early Bronco Registry (EBR) as a larger international association of Early Bronco enthusiasts, and Betty was a perpetual EBR officer.  If you have ever owned an Early Bronco, she touched you in some way.  Pat, along with his wife Whitney and brother DJ, hosted several of our larger Bronco events at DJ’s wonderful “Oasis”, a true man-made lake in the middle of the otherwise bone dry Mojave Desert that surrounded trees and a rustic bar resting on an island.  No friendlier folks can be found anywhere.  We will miss them as much as we enjoyed them – a lot!
