Friday night was "An Evening with
the Legends" led by our History Chairman, Todd
Zuercher of the Arizona Classic Broncos. In conjunction with the Off
Road Motorsports Hall of Fame (ORMHOF), this was a very special event
for all attendees of the 40th ANNIVERSARY. Each of the invited guests has
a special and unique connection to the early days of our favorite bobtail.
Their names are familiar: Parnelli Jones, Willie Stroppe, Rod Hall, Larry Minor,
Carl Jackson, James Duff, Gale Pike, and others In addition to our honored guests, the largest
collection of off-road racing Broncos ever assembled in one location is planned
to occur as well. The “Travel Trailer Baja” driven by Carl Jackson, Gale Pike’s
half cab racer, Rod Hall’s Baja 1000-winning Bronco, and the incomparable “Big
Oly” Bronco, driven by Parnelli Jones, are all invited to be in attendance.
Attendees will also learned about the Off Road Motorsports Hall of Fame, which
is dedicated to honoring the great members of the off road racing community.
